Practically conceived in startup culture, Herwig has been working for startups since he first worked for Venture Capital backed Clickable Inc., at the age of 14 in NYC. Since then, he has been involved in either consulting for or operating his own companies, including Y-Combinator backed startup Glider.io. Since joining The Launch Pad (career center for entrepreneurs at the University of Miami) Herwig has been teaching lean startup methodology to hundreds of student & alumni entrepreneurs. For his efforts, Herwig won the Miami Technology Leader of the Year award in 2015 and was featured as one of Forbes’ 15 Brightest College Entrepreneurs. After graduating with a BBA in Management & Entrepreneurship, Herwig launched InvestReady, turning the company into the industry leader for investor verification featuring clients such as Mercedes-Benz, LendingHome and top 100 ICOs and exchanges/ protocols. Herwig is also a board member and the former managing director of the Miami Venture Capital Association, where he helped new fund managers and existing institutional investors with deal flow, resources, contacts, and best practices for launching and managing VC funds.
Mario is an Executive, Entrepreneur and Blockchain Angel Investor & Advisor. He started out in the Blockchain space investing in companies in both equity and tokens generating successful returns which lead to community involvement and advising. Mario is an Advisor for two successful Blockchain companies, Wabi and Kairos. As an active member of the Miami Venture Capital Association (MVCA), Mario acts as a moderator and panelist at Blockchain forums and a liaison for Blockchain companies. In 2017, Mario was invited to speak about his Blockchain experience at the Hybrid Summit in Macau. Mario has more than 14 years of management experience for different multinationals in Finance, Consumer Electronics & Information Technologies. Mario also serves as the COO of Pazos Law Group, helping turn it into the 6th fastest growing law firm in the US. Prior to joining PLG, Mario worked as a Vice President at MasterCard, Senior Vice President at Citi, Senior Marketing Manager at Sony, and Business Analyst at Microsoft.
Kyle Sonlin is an entrepreneur, advisor, and investor. Through working with startups as a consultant and investor, he has a keen eye for business development and specializes in management and fundraising through personal accounts and his network. With a finance and economics background, he provides technical experience to further evaluate business proposals, and has made successful investments in companies, as well as the stock and crypto-asset markets.
